Indians and cricket: A bond since 1983
The 1983 Cricket World Cup, where Team India became the second team after West Indies to win the ICC Cricket World Cup after beating the two times World Cup winning team West Indies at Lords.
The confidence, enthusiasm, and energy for Indian fans towards the game of Cricket, which later became the religion for all of us when the great Sachin Tendulkar came into the spotlight at a very tender age of 16 facing fast pace attack of Pakistanis in Pakistan itself.
The Great Sachin Tendulkar taught us how one can completely dedicate his most part of the life towards the thing which one loves to do without getting tired or bored after playing so long.
After roaming for 6 Cricket World Cups and 28 years of hard-fought Cricket all over the world, the amazing golden trophy came to visit India in 2011 and to no surprise, we Indians are in full monty to welcome all the teams and play the great game of Cricket in our country.
This year is going to be another belter of the year with World Cup coming to England & Wales hosting this wonderful tournament. The expectations as always are high on the skies with Team India at their best of the forms entering into the World Cup and unsurprisingly as favorites to win the title.
