Additionally, Aussie all-rounder Pat Cummins shattered the cash counters, going for a whopping ₹15.5 crore to Kolkata Knight Riders.

Not only does this make him the highest-paid foreigner in the IPL ever (surpassing Ben Stokes’ ₹14.5 crore transfer to Rising Pune Supergiant in 2017), but the selling price is also just ₹50 lakh short of the all-time IPL buy record of ₹16 crore (Yuvraj Singh to Delhi Daredevils in 2015).
